Makin’ it better

Just a thought:

Audrey Hepburn says: “Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I’m possible.” Very tricky I think and so encouraging.

The week in general:

Well this has been one of those weeks it’s good to see the back of. One of those weeks that make  me feel like I am trying to write with a dried out texta!

Okay-enough negativity!

I’m happy to report that the dead fish being washed up on our beaches are getting less and less. They come in with the tide and are a fresh lot each time so thankfully the smell has gone. More people are coming back to the beaches but as yet, no one is risking the surf. It’s pretty certain sharks would be in abundance out beyond the fresh/salt water mix, cleaning up all those little bodies.

It’s been a sad sight for everyone- I hope we won’t ever see a repeat.

My grandson is soon to turn 16 and I was at a loss as to what I could get him (in my price range not his!) I had been asked to leave some copies of my novel at the Yankalilla Visitors Centre so while I was in there waiting for all the forms etc. to be completed I started looking through the things they had for sale. Not looking for anything in particular, just being nosy.

And I found it. The perfect present. A large sepia print of Don Bradman, the famous Aussie cricketer from back in the day. Dated 1936. It was in amongst a huge collection of collectible prints picturing horse drays, sheep musters, fishing boats etc. and just this one cricket print.  Perfect for Aaron who is a cricket tragic extraordinaire! Can’t wait to watch him open it!

Oh and if you are ever in Yankalilla, make sure you go to the Visitors Centre.

The animal family:

I’ve been a bit worried about the hens the past few nights. There seems to be some predator coming in at night and trying to get into their coop. I can see where whatever it is has attempted to pull the netting out of place. Most likely it’s a fox because they come around at night looking for food. We live near  fish market so that would certainly attract them.

Anyway I’ve been looking at other options to keep the girls safe. Most likely I’ll put them in an old outside laundry with a concrete floor. I just need to make a few adjustments to make it suitable for them. I’ll let you know how it all works out.

My book:

Last weekend Peter and I took a pile of books to Willunga Markets. Willunga is a village just in the Adelaide Hills and is a really cute little place tucked away in the hills. Old sandstone cottages, lots of craft centres and a gorgeous country village atmosphere.

I sold quite a few books and will definitely go back there. The best thing about the day was the really helpful people I met. Everybody just mucked in and got things done both before and after the market. It’s great to be part of such a friendly, no-nonsense group.

Next weekend I’ll be back at the Yankalilla Markets.

As previously mentioned. You can get a copy of my book by messaging me on my Facebook page – Beverley Writes. Or use the comments section on this blog. The cost is $30 which also covers postage and handling. Or $20 if you live locally.

My business:

As the title of this post suggests, much of my mentoring experience is about making improvements to what I am doing.

Every month Internet Profits holds a review of the progress we have made. It’s not compulsory but I’ve found it very useful. I’m not a very techy person so to have someone critique my business I think is a great way to stop any mistakes creeping in before they get too big  and to offer any suggestions that I can choose to accept or not. It also keeps me connected to other people in this organisation.

I can either attend a live Zoom session or watch the recording at a time that works for me. I usually watch the recording as the live sessions are from the UK and the time zone just doesn’t work for me.

The reviews can go on for hours, depending on how many people are involved; each individual session lasts around 30 minutes.

I look forward to them each month and always learn something new. When I look back on how much I have learned it really surprises me. I mean I had no idea what Facebook Lead Ads were and as for Aweber… what on earth is that? Now I use both systems happily if not yet expertly.

Review:

For my review this week I am going to look at a product called Sqribble. It’s a software that allows you to quickly create a variety of products such as reports, digital courses and e books. It covers all the designing, writing, editing and formatting all in one place. I haven’t used it but I am interested in learning more about it. If you want to check it out yourself the link is here.https://sqribblejv.com/invitation/#AffiliateLink12:~:text=https%3A//hop.clickbank.net/%3Faffiliate%3Dbevell%26vendor%3Dsqribblex

I’ll let the creator tell you a little bit about it.

“Have you ever tried to create a report, eBook, or digital info product, and thought, “that was easy?”

Nope, didn’t think so.

Let’s face it — creating eBooks, free reports and digital courses is a PAIN.

All that designing, writing, editing, formatting for every single page… and that’s just for ONE eBook or report.

Sure, you could outsource it… and pay several hundred bucks for an “average” report or eBooks… not to mention the time and hassle of going back and forth with a bunch of freelancers.

But what if there was a much easier, faster way to create reports, eBooks and full-blown digital products (WITH CONTENT) … in MINUTES from now?!

You’re in luck, because there’s a brand-new tool that’s just hit the market called Sqribble, and it’s going to make your life INFINITELY easier when it comes to creating digital eBooks…

https://sqribblejv.com/invitation/#AffiliateLink12:~:text=https%3A//hop.clickbank.net/%3Faffiliate%3Dbevell%26vendor%3Dsqribblex

– Forget hacking away at writing content.

– Forget slaving over design, layout, and formatting.

– Forget blowing hundreds on freelancers.

– Forget wasting weeks trying to create a single eBook or report.

Now you can get the ultimate edge over the competition, slash hours off your day, and pump out digital eBooks and reports at lightning speed…”

Take a look via the link if this sounds like something you might like. And remember if you do decide to purchase, I will receive a small commission for referring you.

Wrapping up:

I hope these words of mine have interested you. I will happily answer questions if you leave any comments either about Internet Profits Accelerator or anything else about this business that has got you curious. I’d love to hear from you.

Take care everyone.

Bev

  1. Keeping those chicks safe definitely stretches the imagination. First, figuring out the predator then a way to create some barrier. We’ve cared for chickens in Bali and twice in New Zealand while circling the globe, in addition to once in New Jersey. The Bali sit challenged us because it was 6 months in snake country. A spitting cobra broke in and killed a few chicks and the mama hen once. Intense but part of house sitting in rural Bali.

    1. I was going to hit “like” but on second thoughts I can’t honestly say I like the idea of a cobra hanging around. I once lost a chicken to a python which was not nice.

About Me

Hello, I’m Beverley Bell, the creator of this blog. My main reason for starting this blog is to help people who are interested in starting a business they can operate from home.

Most of my skillset is in the field of writing which I guess is why I am drawn to blogging. The plan is to make this blog into an income earning creation that will enable me to earn a living helping people while at the same time doing something I love.

I am also trying my hand at novel writing. I have one novel published which is just starting to attract some attention.

My other interest is in affiliate marketing. I tried this a few years ago and failed dismally. However I have recently started working with an affiliate marketing company and I’m learning all about why it all went so wrong in my first attempt. And more importantly, how to get it right this time. And that’s what I want to share with you.
